The Beach at Wiseman's Bridge

Wiseman's Bridge Beach - view from the Pub
Wiseman's Bridge Beach

The Beach at Wiseman's Bridge is a south facing, sandy beach with a pebble and stone bank above the tide line. There is a pub directly at the beach which serves a good range of very reasonably priced meals - a pobular joice for Sunday Lunch on nice summer days. In 1944, the beach at Wiseman's Bridge was used for a full scale rehersal of the D-Day landings in Normandy.
